"What did you say?" This has been Hannah's most common question lately, so we decided to look in her ears. Somewhat as a joke and somewhat to see if there was anything blocking her hearing. Turns out there was. A humongous ball of ear wax. I know it sounds gross but it was almost amazing how much came out of her ear. We softened it up with some hydrogen peroxide and (only because we could see it) we gently coaxed it out with the curved end of a bobby pin. Wow. No wonder she couldn't hear!
The things that come out of kids bodies...like when they have so many huge boogers you're not sure how they breathe...and now ear wax...
Is it weird that I find these things fascinating, or just that I admit it and blog about it?

interestingly grosse! almost as good as ivan asking weather the wart hog had a penus.
Oh wow... sick. In a good way and bad. Haha!! I've always wondered the booger thing though - cleaning stuffy noses at Sunday school. Seriously, how do they breathe!!! Glad Hannah can hear now.
Kids ears are interesting places. I still remember my granma Smith telling me how my dad had a horrible ear ache and they could not figure it out...until the bean sprout began to appear out of the canal. Apparently he had put a bean in his ear when they were shelling the dried beans to store. Go figure......Glad Hannah can hear better. Nana
Yes. :-)
And this is one of the best word verification words yet: repoonfu.
very funny. I should check Bridger's ears. He asks "what?" all the time:)
