The fuchsias in my hanging baskets finally bloomed. I made my own hanging baskets this year by bending and shaping some chicken wire, then I filled them with moss and dirt and planted a bunch of flowers. I've been waiting and waiting for the fuchsias to bloom. They've been teasing me for weeks, just the buds hanging there, refusing to unfurl but then the brief rays of sunshine we had the other day coaxed them to open up and they are gorgeous. I've never planted fuchsias before, I had no idea how lovely they actually are:
